He is sculpted in a dusty shirt with the collar open over a jacket, one arm hanging loose and the head turned a quarter off centre, with the paint staying in sand, khaki and worn leather. The boots are laced high and the stance is wide.
The head is the part that carries it: hair pushed back and slightly messy, jaw squared, eyes set level. His expression is set flat, mouth closed, which keeps the face from tipping into cartoon. The shirt is the paler piece, a light beige against the darker jacket, and the trousers are a dull brown with a scuff across the toe of the boot.
