Anniversary pieces usually reframe a known design rather than repeat it, and the Specialty Series name is its own designation within the catalog. Between the two, there is no ambiguity about what this is.
The sculpt does the creature justice, with the elongated head and the back spines carrying the silhouette at any viewing angle. That profile is unmistakable from across a room, which is what a monster figure has to get right.
Movie-monster shelves get arranged by franchise rather than by year, and this belongs with the rest of the Alien group. There is no stand to lose, and the box opens straight onto a shelf.
