Log in to reviewGlow-in-the-dark treatment gives a sculpt a genuine second purpose, and Thor wears it well. The Avengers lead is recognisable in any finish, and this version comes alive again once the lights go down.
He is catalogued at #1117 in the Marvel run, a high number that reflects how far the Avengers line has travelled. Aside from the finish, this is a familiar Thor: cape, hammer, and the proportions that make Pops stack neatly. The piece does not ask you to relearn the character.
There is a practical argument for the glow version too — it keeps working after dark, which most shelf pieces cannot claim. For a Marvel collection with a centrepiece already in place, this makes an easy companion piece. Around other Marvel figures it looks entirely at home until the room goes dark.
