That is the appeal of a same-character pair. You get to compare how the design was handled at two different points, with the same subject and the same head-heavy proportions in both. Nothing about either piece is dramatically different, and that is fine — the pleasure is in the small shifts you only catch when they sit next to each other. Seen alone, each one stands up perfectly well.
Both figures arrive together, and both are Inuyasha, numbered 1590 and 767 respectively, which makes them easy to tell apart on a shelf.
