Our Collector's Take

Ronan is number 75, and he belongs to the Guardians of the Galaxy branch of Marvel. He was the antagonist of the first film and has stayed a steady request in the years since.

Villains are often made once and then left alone. That makes a clean Ronan more useful than he looks, especially for anyone building a Guardians shelf that needs someone for the heroes to stand against. Without him, the group is all allies. He is also the kind of character who looks better the more figures stand beside him.

A single figure, and a protector is supplied alongside it. The design carries his dark armour and hooded collar, which separates him from the brighter hero pieces at a glance. Place him opposite Star-Lord and the display finally has a centre of conflict. That contrast is what a villain shelf is for.
