Log in to reviewAmong the Hello Kitty and Friends numbers, Kuromi at 62 sits early in the run, and grouped with the brighter characters beside it the black-and-pink palette gives the row a deliberate contrast. The proportions are shared across the line, so nothing about it looks out of step.
The hood and the expression carry the character's impish read, which is what separates it from the softer entries standing nearby. It is a figure built on attitude rather than detail, and the sculpt leans into that. The black hood and pink trim carry enough character on their own to anchor a stretch of shelf without company.
Where the rest of the friends are already on a shelf, Kuromi is the one that stops the grouping looking one-note, and it fits the early part of the numbering without any adjustment.
