Log in to reviewNick Fury is one of the older Avengers entries in the Pop! line, and this copy comes with a note worth reading first: the box is listed as imperfect. The figure itself is the familiar Fury build — long coat, eyepatch, arms crossed — and number 14 puts it early in the Avengers sequence.
Boxed collectors should weigh that box detail before ordering. Display it open, though, and it is close to irrelevant — you get an early Marvel number without paying for packaging you were going to store anyway.
The Avengers shelf has grown enormous since this number came out, which makes the low numbers a different kind of find than the newest waves. Early numbers are also the ones people ask about when they are filling a gap.
Either way you display it, the sculpt holds up against the later Fury releases.
