The Monkey King sculpt catches light across the armour, the headpiece and the staff, which sets it well apart from the flat-painted majority of Pop! figures, and the pose stays close to Wukong's familiar stance — staff in hand, weight shifted back.
Cataloged as an Asia Freddy Funko Monkey King SE, it sits in the Southeast Asian branch of the Freddy line, where the metallic treatment carries across the whole sculpt. The finish is the draw here: silver vinyl photographs poorly and looks considerably better in hand, reading almost like brushed metal when seen straight on.
Display it where light can reach it. A flat matte shelf flattens the whole point of the treatment, and this is a figure built to be seen at an angle.
