Log in to reviewTony Hawk gets a sculpt built on stance, and that is a sensible place to start. The figure is built around a low, planted stance — a skater's balance reduced to the Pop! format, big head over a short body. Few parts, but the geometry is doing real work, and the pose stays balanced rather than tipping forward.
Paint stays clean rather than decorative. Skin, clothing, and hair are separated into solid fields, which keeps the figure legible without shading tricks and lets it sit alongside other Sports pieces without clashing. Number 01 in the Other Sports range, right at the front of that sequence.
The box holds one figure. It is an obvious place to start that particular shelf, and it does not look undersized next to the team-sport releases.
