Our Collector's Take

WWE X-Pac, number 174, listed as the variant. A variant release of the same wrestler is often separated only by a colorway or a gear change, and that is what the tag marks.

The sculpt keeps the ring gear and the bandana-era look. Wrestling Pops tend to be posed simply, and this one is no exception.

Colors on the tights and boots match the era's ring gear.

The wrestling line is smaller than basketball or baseball, so numbers climb slowly and the roster has real gaps. X-Pac fills one of them. Variant or not, he fits a nineties-era row without a second thought. The line leans on nineties and two-thousands rosters, which is why so many of its entries sit at low numbers. X-Pac belongs to that stretch. Wrestling collectors who grew up on that era will recognize the gear immediately.
