Mystery Minis are the format where the contents stay unknown until the seal is broken: a case of 24 boxes, nothing identified from the outside. Buying the full sealed case is the route people take when they would rather not gamble box by box. The sealed format also settles the question of duplicates before it starts, since nothing has been opened by definition.
The Horror Classics Series 1 line has been taken out of production, so sealed cases are no longer being made. A display-in-waiting as much as a purchase.
