The figure does what the Pop! format handles well: a recognisable likeness, a pose that reads at a glance, and enough detail that it does not look like a stand-in for someone else. Nothing here is overworked, and the uniform colours are handled cleanly, which is not a given at this scale.
He fits naturally beside other Star Trek entries, and the TV Shows run is broad enough that a full bridge is not out of the question. People who grew up with the series have already made up their minds about this one. A captain who has earned his spot.
