Log in to reviewThe Greatest Hits styling shapes this sculpt, and it gives the mould more to do than usual. Elton John arrives in the stage look that era is associated with, and there is more surface interest here than on most Music releases — costume elements layered rather than painted onto a plain body.
That density is handled well. Paint separates the parts cleanly so the outfit reads as composed rather than noisy, and the head keeps the calm, simple face the line prefers. Busy body, quiet face — that contrast is deliberate, and it is what makes the figure work at any distance.
In the Music range it takes 62. Nothing else is included beyond the one figure, and the extra sculpt detail is what sets it apart from a shelf of plainer releases.
