Log in to reviewGlow treatments sell to a specific taste, and this figure is aimed squarely at collectors who like a display that changes when the lights go down. It is not a piece bought for the sculpt alone, and there is no reason to pretend otherwise.
Electro, number 46 in the Marvel range, is the glow-in-the-dark version. In daylight it is a fairly plain sculpt of a character who is genuinely a visual oddity; after dark the finish does the work, which is the whole premise of a glow piece. The lightning motif suits a glowing finish, which is not true of every character given the treatment.
Production on it has stopped. It pairs naturally with other glow figures, and on a dark shelf it earns more attention than its number would suggest. Anyone indifferent to glow finishes can safely pass.
