Log in to reviewSugar Circus is an odd trio by design. Love Combat, Screaming Clown and Monkey Shriner each look like they wandered in from a different carnival, and the colour choices are loud and mismatched on purpose. Together the three pieces become a set precisely because none of them match.
Numbers 171, 172 and 173 cover the group, and the listing holds all three figures. Drawn from the Stranger Things side of the catalog, though the styling owes more to fairground imagery than to the show's usual look. Sugar Circus is a curiosity rather than a headline act, which is part of the appeal.
Three is an awkward number to display — a pair is easy, four makes a block. These want to sit together in a short row, which suits them, and the mismatched colours keep the row from looking like a repeated mould.
